Last week while talking to the California Crew via our webcam, we asked the boys what they were going to be on Halloween. Nathanial said he was going to be Jeff Gordan, TJ had decided on Spiderman, and Brady told us he was going to be Chigger.
Chigger?
I immediately tried to visualize my precious, curly-haired grandson, Brady, as a nasty, bloodsucking insect that bores into your skin after a romp in high grass, and causes you to claw at yourself until angry red whelps appear - which is usually followed by painting the affected areas with clear fingernail polish. Where exactly does one get a costume like that?
After listening to him further we realized that Brady was saying "Tigger" - not Chigger, and in the end we discovered we need not have worried - Brady dressed as Scooby-Doo on Halloween.
