My sharks are circling again. It's just this sunburn looking thing on my Left Breast. You remember my Left Breast - the one that placed me into that statistics chart with other women diagnosed with breast cancer. Those stats: 1 in 6 women. So, if you are sitting in a room of six women while you are reading this.......look around and schedule a mammogram. It could be you.
Mammogram and Sonogram both say no cancer. No cancer. No cancer.
Two rounds of antibiotics have not fixed the sunburn. No cancer. No cancer.
Can I feel it? You betcha I can feel it. No cancer. No cancer.
But.........just to be sure, my Harley Doctor wants to do a biopsy. No cancer. No cancer.
So, when do we allow ourselves to let our hair down and take deep cleansing breaths again? When can I walk into that clinic for the dreaded Six-Month Checkup without taking a tranquilizer first? At what point will I be able drive past The West Clinic without getting sick to my stomach? When will the sharks go away?
